January 2012, Off to Paris - Part 9: Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe.
After returning to the city from Château de Fontainebleau, the original plan for the afternoon was to go to the Louvre.
But after learning our lesson two days earlier, when we had used the Musée d'Orsay like a hotel for QK -- a quick rest -- we changed the plan on the spot and decided to revisit the Champs-Élysées. This place was much closer to our actual lifestyle. ^.^

As soon as we came out of the metro station, the kids' eyes were immediately pulled toward the Disney Store.

By the time we came out, it was already dark. T.T
The Champs-Élysées at rush hour.

Since we had come here, of course we could not skip the LV flagship store.

After a quick discussion with my wife, she continued shopping, while I used the time to go up the Arc de Triomphe and look at the night view.

Ugh... hundreds of stairs...
Fortunately my wife and kids did not come with me. Otherwise I definitely would have been scolded badly. ~.~'"

Unfortunately, the weather was not good that day, so I could not get a pretty photo of the Eiffel Tower. T.T

Sigh... while I was taking photos, it even started to rain.
So I just took a couple of quick shots and went back downstairs. ~.~'"
This person is the very famous... I have no idea who. @.@'"

I was not in the mood to look it up. Anyway, anyone who can stand on the very top level of the Arc de Triomphe must be very famous. XD
Then I hurried to Swarovski on the Champs-Élysées to meet my wife and the kids.
Lisa saw a crystal charm there that she had wanted for a long time. My wife wanted to use the chance to train Lisa to speak English, so she asked Lisa to ask the clerk, "How much is it?"
Lisa had the sentence right there in her mouth, but no matter what, she could not say it. Just as the clerk was about to turn away, my wife finally could not hold back and asked first.
Lisa got so anxious that she flipped out on the spot: "Mommy, how could you do that? I was finally about to say it... hmph!!" @.@'"

Later, my cousin who was studying here told us that the real concentration of big-name luxury brands was not around the Champs-Élysées.
It was along the road on both sides between Église de la Madeleine and Place de la Concorde.
But we were not here to shop this time, so I will just leave that information here for anyone who needs it. XD

As for dinner that day, my cousin took us to try some authentic French food. ^.^
